A professora doutora Maria Martha Costa Hübner, professora titular do Departamento de Psicologia Experimental da Universidade de São Paulo, recebeu um prêmio internacional, concedido pela SABA- Society for the Advancement of Behavior Analysis, associação adjunta à ABAI- Association for Behavior Analysis International, a maior sociedade científica da abordagem comportamental no mundo, por suas contribuições internacionais ao desenvolvimento da Análise do Comportamento, um abordagem  de pesquisa e aplicação da Psicologia.

O prêmio é dado a pessoas ou organizações que fizeram um trabalho relevante ao desenvolvimento da área fora dos Estados Unidos. Além disso, a professora Martha Hübner foi a primeira mulher brasileira eleita Presidente da referida associação e é mencionado no prêmio a sua expressiva liderança no exercício da presidência e da representação internacional, bem como sua liderança científica no Brasil.

Segue trecho da carta oficial , concedendo o prêmio, que será entregue em maio de 2018, em San Diego, California, EUA, por ocasião da 44o Congresso Anual da ABAI.

....." this award is given to a person or organization demonstrating a significant and sustained contribution to the dissemination/development of behavior analysis outside of the United States, and will be presented at the 2018 Annual Convention in San Diego, California.
In making this award, the SABA board wishes to recognize your long service to ABAI, in particular your impressive stretch on the Executive Council, first as international representative and then as president—only the third ABAI president from outside the USA! What’s more, we have benefited greatly from your leadership on the Program Committees of all international conferences since 2004, and of course, most recently you were instrumental in the 2016 India delegation.
In addition, Martha, we wish to honor your status as a major figure in behavior analysis in Brazil, which is one of the most important areas of the world for our science...."
