Family and Couple: From Diagnosis to Treatment
The areas of psychological diagnosis and treatment have always called my attention. Over the past years I have dedicated myself to the study of family diagnosis. I have also used the psychoanalytic psychotherapy referential with couples and families as a form of intervention and clinical research with this population; In addition, I have focused on the qualification of Undergraduate students in this form of clinical practice.

Besides carrying out research on the influence of the couple’s dynamics in the development of a child’s symptom, we have been looking for an interface between Family and Couple Psychoanalysis and Psychosocial Studies with the intent of broadening the comprehension of the changes that have occurred from the traditional family model to the contemporary family model and the interconnections with the development of family symptoms. Thus, we also focus in a more profound study of the new family, marital and parental configurations and the relations amongst them.
