Limites e possibilidades para o bem viver de estudantes negros em instituições de ensino superior. Processo FAPESP: 2018/15573-0.

Objetivos do projeto
Descrever e analisar o bem viver de estudantes em instituições de ensino superior, investigando seu bem estar subjetivo, os episódios de preconceito e discriminação étnico-racial no ambiente acadêmico, os serviços de acolhimento e assistência psicossocial que são oferecidos pelas universidades, as formas de organização dos estudantes e o apoio oferecido por suas famílias para continuidade dos estudos.

Pré-requisitos
Doutorado na área de ciências humanas; inglês fluente; ausência de reprovações em histórico escolar da pós-graduação; experiência em pesquisa.

Carga horária e remuneração
40hs/semanais. Valor mensal da bolsa de R$7.373,10 + 15% de Reserva Técnica do valor anual da bolsa em cada ano de bolsa. Duração de 24 meses com possibilidade de extensão até 48 meses conforme o desempenho do candidato.

Processo seletivo

Fase 1
Entrega de redação em inglês de duas laudas sobre o tema do projeto, cópia de histórico escolar e certificado de conclusão do curso de pós-graduação em nível de doutorado, endereço e contato de duas pessoas (professores, pesquisadores, entre outros) indicadas a título de referências pessoais do candidato e súmula curricular no modelo FAPESP (www.fapesp.br/en/6351) contendo endereço completo, e-mail e telefone para contato.

Fase 2
Entrevista para os selecionados na fase 01 no dia 08/11/2019 a partir das 10hs presencialmente no Departamento de Psicologia Social e do Trabalho ou por meio de teleconferência previamente agendada para candidatos de fora de São Paulo ou do Brasil.

Resultado
O resultado será enviado por e-mail ao candidato selecionado.

Disposições gerais
Não caberá recurso do resultado do processo seletivo e casos omissos a este edital serão decididos pelo responsável pelo projeto, resguardadas as regras estabelecidas pela FAPESP.

Selection Process Postdoctoral Fellowship – FAPESP

Project
Limits and possibilities of the good-living of black students in institutions of higher education. Process FAPESP: 2018/15573-0.

Project objectives
Describe and analyze the well-being of students in higher education institutions, investigating their subjective well-being, the episodes of prejudice and ethnic-racial discrimination in the academic environment, the reception and psychosocial assistance services offered by universities, the forms of student organization and the support offered by their families regarding their  studies.

Requirements
Ph.D. in the area of humanities; fluency in English; absence of failures in graduate school scores; research experience.

Hours of work and allowance
40 hours/week. The monthly scholarship amount is R$ 7,373.10 plus 15% of Technical Reserve of the annual scholarship amount in each scholarship year. Duration of 24 months with the possibility of extending up to 48 months depending on the candidate’s performance.

Selection process

Phase 1
Delivery of a text of two pages, in English, on the subject of the project, copy of the certificate of completion of the doctoral level postgraduate course, address and contact of two people (teachers, researchers, among others) indicated as personal references of the candidate and curriculum summary in the FAPESP model (www.fapesp.br/en/6351) containing the full address, e-mail and contact telephone.

Phase 2
Interview for those selected in phase 01 on 2019/11/08 in person at the Department of Social and Work Psychology or through a previously scheduled teleconference for candidates from outside São Paulo or Brazil.

Registrations
Until 2019/11/06 in person at the Secretariat of the Department of Social and Work Psychology with Teresa Peres. Hours: 9:00 to 12:00 am and 14:00 to 17:00 pm or by email: alos@usp.br

Result
The result will be emailed to the selected candidate.

General provisions
There will be no appeal against the outcome of the selection process and omitted cases to this announcement will be decided by the project leader, safeguarding the rules established by FAPESP.
