The Program comprises two levels of training, the Master’s and Doctorate, differentiated by the breadth and depth of the studies. Following the Statute of USP, the Postgraduate Program in Clinical Psychology consists of a set of programmed, advanced and individualized activities, accompanied by a counselor who bears at least the title of Doctor. These activities include and privilege teaching and research, always seeking the integration of knowledge. The Program is understood as a system of intellectual training and, at the same time, production of knowledge in the area of \u200b\u200bClinical Psychology.<\/p>\n

Master<\/p>\n

The Master’s course aims to initiate the training of its students in research activities and teaching in Clinical Psychology. It is a course of a strictly academic and free nature. It is also possible to obtain scholarships through the agencies that finance postgraduate studies: CAPES, CNPq and FAPESP.<\/p>\n

The course lasts 27 (twenty-seven) months and the courses are offered semiannually in the daytime (8 am to 12 a.m. or 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.) and there are no classes on Saturdays. To complete the credits, the student must obtain a minimum of 32 (thirty-two) credits in courses, up to the date of deposit of the dissertation, being compulsory, the disciplines offered by the Graduate Program in Clinical Psychology:

\nIntroduction to Graduate Studies: Teaching and Research<\/a><\/p>\n

It is possible to take credits from disciplines of other stricto-sensu programs recognized by CAPES.<\/p>\n

Note: In the course of Master’s in Clinical Psychology, together with the deposition of the dissertation, it is required the proof of acceptance submission or article published in co-authorship with the supervisor, related to the dissertation, in a qualified journal in the area.<\/p>\n

– 50% of the credits must be obtained in courses offered in courses offered by the Program.<\/p>\n
