The Program comprises two levels of training, the Master’s and Doctorate, differentiated by the breadth and depth of the studies. Following the Statute of USP, the Postgraduate Program in Clinical Psychology consists of a set of programmed, advanced and individualized activities, accompanied by a counselor who bears, at a minimum, the title of Doctor. These activities include and privilege teaching and research, always seeking the integration of knowledge. The Program is understood as a system of intellectual training and, at the same time, production of knowledge in the area of \u200b\u200bClinical Psychology.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Doctorate<\/strong><\/p>\n

The PhD course aims to deepen the training of students in research activities. It is a course of a strictly academic and free nature. It is also possible to obtain scholarships through the agencies that finance postgraduate studies: CAPES, CNPq and FAPESP.<\/p>\n

The course lasts 43 months and the courses are offered semiannually in the daytime (from 8am to 12 a.m. or from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.) and there are no classes on Saturdays. To complete the credits, the student must obtain a minimum of 32 credits in courses, until the date of deposit of the thesis, being obligatory, the disciplines:<\/p>\n

“Research Methodology in Clinical Psychology”<\/a><\/p>\n

“Epistemologies in Clinical Psychology”.<\/a><\/p>\n

“Introduction to Graduate Studies: Teaching and Research”<\/a><\/p>\n

“Project Orientation Practices”<\/a><\/p>\n

It is possible to take credits from disciplines of other stricto-sensu programs recognized by CAPES.<\/p>\n

– 50% of the credits must be obtained in courses offered in courses offered by the Program.<\/p>\n

In the course of Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, together with the deposition of the thesis, it is required the proof of acceptance of submission or publication of two articles<\/strong> in co-authorship with the supervisor, related to the thesis, in a national and \/ or international refereed journal .<\/p>\n
