It is my understanding that the benefits of Clinical Psychology must be applied to the population as a whole, whether it be in primary prevention, early diagnosis or rehabilitation. I have developed &#8211; with the use of EDAO (Escala Diagn\u00f3stica Adaptativa) and Operationalized Brief Psychotherapy* (Psicoterapia Breve Operacionalizada)- research studies and field work which is centered in the evaluation of human adaptation. The Theory of Adaptation and the Psychoanalytical Theory are the theoretical foundation for the work in question.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Academic\/Professional Background<\/strong><br \/>\nPsychology Undergraduate Degree,USP (1972); Master\u2019s in Clinical Psychology,Instituto de Psicologia, USP (1984) and Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology,Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo (1990) . The Professor currently holds the position of Professor Ph.D at Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo. Area of experience: Psychology with emphasis on Psychological Treatment and Prevention.
