\na) 30 months (without scholarship);
\nb) 24 months (with scholarship);<\/p>\n
\n1<\/strong>. taking classes totaling 48 (forty-eight) credits;
\n2<\/strong>. taking the \u201cPedagogic Preparation\u201d class (compulsory for CAPES scholarship holders). Allows graduate students to participate in an Internship Program according to the graduation discipline;
\n3<\/strong>. participating in periodical orientation meetings;
\n4<\/strong>. participating in academic and scientific activities in the area of study and in seminars offered by the graduate course;
\n5<\/strong>. developing the dissertation topic on the advisor\u2019s line of research;
\n6<\/strong>. taking the General Qualifying Examination. This is a requirement to obtain a master’s degree. Students may apply for the Qualifying Examination after having earned 24 (twenty-four) credits demanded in the course. Students must apply for the Qualifying Examination within 60 (sixty) percent of the maximum interval for the dissertation deposit.
\n7<\/strong>. preparing the dissertation and participating in the public defense of the paper;
\n8<\/strong>. making the dissertation available on the SABER USP<\/a> portal. Upon depositing dissertations, students must make them integrally available for publication on the Portal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
