The registration documents, the number of vacancies available, the list of advisors, the curriculum evaluation items, the grade of each item and the final approval average, the themes and bibliography indicated for the selection process, will be included in a specific Notice to be published in the Official Gazette of the State of S\u00e3o Paulo (DOE) and on the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ip.usp.br\/site\/pos_graduacao\/programa-de-pos-psicologia-clinica-psc\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Clinical Psychology<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> website.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For all levels (Master&#8217;s, Doctorate and Direct Doctorate), <\/span><b>the selection process, after the Language Proficiency Stage<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, is composed of five eliminatory stages:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(1) Analysis of the Academic Transcript, considering the student&#8217;s weighted average, the time of completion of the course and the number of failures;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(2) Analysis of the Memorial (Detailed Curriculum), considering participation in scientific events, publications, professional and research experience;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(3) Analysis of the Research Project considering its congruence with the research line or intended supervisor, in addition to its scientific relevance;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(4) Written Test of Knowledge on the Field of Clinical Psychology;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(5) Argument of the Memorial (Resum\u00e9 in detail) and of the Research Project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each of the five steps receives a score from 0 to 10 and has a weight of 1.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To be approved in the <\/span><b>Master&#8217;s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> selection process, the candidate must obtain at least an arithmetic average of 7 (seven), considering all the tests, and obtain at least a grade of 5 (five) in the Written Test of Knowledge about the Field of Clinical Psychology, totaling in minimum 35 points out of 50 possible. Self-declared black and indigenous candidates to be approved in the Master&#8217;s selection process must obtain at least an arithmetic average of 6 (six), considering all tests, and obtain at least a grade of 5 (five) in the Written Test of Knowledge about the Field of Clinical Psychology, totaling at least 30 points out of 50 possible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To be approved in the <\/span><b>Doctoral<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> selection process, the candidate must obtain at least an arithmetic average of 7 (seven), considering all the tests, and obtain at least a grade of 7 (seven) in the Written Test of Knowledge on the Field of Clinical Psychology, totaling in minimum 35 points out of 50 possible. To be approved in the Doctoral selection process, self-declared black and indigenous candidates must obtain at least an arithmetic average of 6 (six), considering all tests, and obtain at least a grade of 6 (six) in the Written Test of Knowledge about the Field of Clinical Psychology, totaling at least 30 points out of 50 possible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To be approved in the <\/span><b>Direct Doctorate<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> selection process, the candidate must have at least an arithmetic average of 7 (seven), considering all the tests, and obtain a minimum grade of 8 (eight) in the Written Test of Knowledge about the Field of Clinical Psychology, totaling in minimum 35 points out of 50 possible. Self-declared black and indigenous candidates to be approved in the selection process for the Direct Doctorate must obtain at least an arithmetic average of 6 (six), considering all tests, and obtain at least a grade of 7 (seven ) in the Written Test of Knowledge about the Field of Clinical Psychology, totaling at least 30 points out of 50 possible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the evaluation of each of the tests (steps) criteria defined by the CCP are used, aiming to promote a rigorous and fair selection process in the selection of students who will be part of the Program. It is part of the educational horizon of the Clinical Psychology Program to carry out the selection based on the profile of students who are in tune with the Program&#8217;s mission. The Postgraduate Program in Clinical Psychology intends to train professors-researchers who can join postgraduate programs in the country and in research centers in Brazil and abroad. This means selecting candidates who have paths involved with academic life and with a position investigated in the face of the problems posed by the complexity of human beings for the field of Clinical Psychology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each of the steps that make up the selection process seeks to assess an aspect of the student&#8217;s profile, as described below:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Proficiency in a Foreign Language<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: in addition to this test being required by the Graduate Program of the University of S\u00e3o Paulo, the program seeks to assess through it the student&#8217;s ability to read bibliographic material of the candidate&#8217;s theoretical reference, as well as the candidate&#8217;s possibility participate in international conferences and exchanges and internships abroad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>School Transcript, Memorial and Research Project<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: aims to assess the candidate&#8217;s path (professional and academic path, assimilation and allocation of professional and academic experiences, reflection and research focuses arising from the academic and professional path, scientific initiation, participation in groups of research, research carried out, professional experience, organization and participation in events, publications, ability to organize research project properly, among others)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Proof of knowledge and reflection on the field of Clinical Psychology<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: candidate&#8217;s ability to problematize and focus on research themes, possibility of putting research questions into dialogue with the field&#8217;s literature, thematization of methodological and epistemological issues, domain of theoretical reference that will support the candidate&#8217;s research.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Research Project and Curriculum Argument<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: seeks to clarify and discuss aspects of the candidate&#8217;s path, aiming to investigate its consistency and availability and implication in conducting research and dedicating itself to the graduate program in a manner consistent with the program&#8217;s educational horizon; survey of the research project aiming to focus the relevance of the research focus in relation to the candidate&#8217;s path, socio-cultural context and the program&#8217;s research lines, evaluation of the project&#8217;s methodological consistency; real possibility of the candidate being guided in his research project, an aspect that can be evaluated by the candidate&#8217;s ability to maintain a reflective dialogue with the examining board.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The selection process is carried out for Master&#8217;s, Doctorate (for student holding a Master&#8217;s degree by USP or recognized by USP) and Direct Doctorate.
