Research: My research activities focus on the investigation of cognitive and emotional processes, as well as the assessment of personality traits and the development and validation of psychological measurement instruments. In this context, these studies range from understanding diagnostic processes to analyzing the functional impact of emotions and cognition in neuropsychiatric conditions and in populations exposed to situations of violence and stress. This work is carried out both in the health field and at the interface with the forensic system.
In addition, I develop cognitive rehabilitation programs, focusing on neuropsychological interventions and measures of their effectiveness. The target population of these studies is diverse, ranging from children to the elderly, allowing for a comprehensive and transversal approach throughout the life cycle.
