The Graduate Program in Clinical Psychology strict sense of the Institute of Psychology of the University of São Paulo, presents the possibility of receiving applications from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the country or out of country, public or private, interested in submitting proposals that are in agreement with the rules established by CAPES (Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel). The University of São Paulo, characterized as Promoter Institution, through its Graduate Program in Clinical Psychology receives proposals from Institutions for further celebration of covenant and proposition to establish of a Program of offering courses of Master or PhD (MINTER and DINTER)  to other Institutions.


1 – Objectives of the Programme and MINTER DINTER

a-) enable training of qualified teachers and doctors outside of consolidated centers of teaching and research;

b-) implement solidarity thru established academic centers of researching and teaching, exploring up and qualifying the potential of the Center for the spreading of scientific knowledge in the country;

c-) enable the creation and strengthening of scientific researches on issues pertaining to regional needs;

d-) enabling the reduction of regional inequalities of scientific production;

e-) contribute to the awakening of new vocations in new institutions.


2 – Eligibility of Participating Institutions

In selecting proposals MINTER/DINTER, we set up the following rules for eligibility:

a-) may participate in this Program Public Higher Education Institutions, public or private, state or federal, that is able to ensure the provision of infrastructure for education and research consistent with the need Program MINTER / DINTER, administrative support, monitoring and general care of the students.

b-) may not submit proposals for Professional Master MINTER.


3 – Characteristics of Proposals

Projects submitted should contain:

a-) Identification of the Higher Education Institution (HEI) and the program that is pleading: MINTER and / or DINTER;

b-) Identification of (a) Coordinator (a) of the Institution in the proposal;

c-) Office of the Pro Rector (or equivalent) of the institution stating that the Receiver MINTER / DINTER in question is under the Institutional Development Plan (IDP). If the institution does not have a Receiver IDP,  It should describe, briefly, the relevance and impact of the Program MINTER/ DINTER in proposition;

d-) Identification of a Faculty-Doctor from the Institution, with some experience in graduate school, participating in the proposal;

e-) Project area containing the desired concentration, rationale, objectives, goals of the academic plan, relevance and impact of the proposal on the regional and national levels;

f-) a statement that the Recipient Institution agrees to submit its students to the USP system of selecting graduate candidates graduate on the same USP dates.
