Psychopathology in Childhood and Adolescence
Developmental Disorders – Autism, Asperger Syndrome, Disintegrative Disorders , Rett Syndrome, TDAH, Mental Retardation, Learning Disabilities in the School Scenario. Diagnosis is my major field of study, both through a clinical perspective and the cognitive function in these states. Thus, I have studied the genetic aspects over the last years. This has allowed the observation of autistic states as well as known syndromes such as Aarskog, XXX, amongst others.

There is also the matter of sensory stimuli concerning these very states. This has become a field of interest that has allowed the study of the following aspects: face recognition, pain perception, time perception and sensory stimulation patterns. Furthermore, the study of specific symptoms (such as stereotypes and ritual states) have also become fields of interest along with the life-quality studies within this population and their family members (parents and siblings).
