CAPES – Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Level Personnel

The Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) plays a fundamental role in the expansion and consolidation of stricto sensu postgraduate studies (master’s and doctorate) in all states of the Federation.

CNPq: National Council for Scientific and Technological Development
National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) is an agency of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MCT) for the promotion of scientific and technological research and the training of human resources for research in the country.

FAPESP: Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo
The Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo is one of the main agencies promoting scientific and technological research in the country. It is linked to the Secretariat of Higher Education of the Government of the State of São Paulo.
Since 1962, with autonomy guaranteed by law, FAPESP grants research and scholarship grants in all areas of knowledge and finances other activities in support of research, exchange and dissemination of science and technology in São Paulo.

CCInnt – USP

The Executive Vice-Rectory of International Relations (VRERI) aims to formulate the internationalization policy of the institution, promote the dynamization and expansion of its international activities, advise the rector on matters within its competence, as well as the central organs and units of teaching and research in the area of ​​international academic cooperation.
Among the duties of the office of International Relations of USP are:
Support the local International Relations offices of the institution’s teaching and research units in their internationalization activities;

To offer mobility opportunities to the USP community;
Foster international academic cooperation;
Select, prepare and disseminate information on international cooperation programs and initiatives;
Maintain articulation with the Brazilian Foreign Ministry, as well as embassies, consulates, international organizations and institutions;
Actively promote actions with the aim of giving greater visibility to USP in the international scenario.
